Privacy

Last updated August 1, 2026.

Diviide is built privacy first. There is no account to create, no cookies, no ads, and no advertising or third-party trackers. Nothing is ever sold or shared for advertising. This page explains the little we do collect, and why.

What we collect

To keep Diviide reliable and to understand what is useful, we use anonymous, privacy-friendly monitoring:

  • Error reports when something breaks, so we can find and fix it.
  • Basic, anonymous usage, such as page views and which features are used (for example, dragging a separator onto the bar), so we know what is working.

What we do not collect

  • No names, emails, or accounts. Diviide never asks who you are.
  • No cookies. Diviide sets none.
  • No IP addresses are stored.
  • No advertising profiles, and no data sold or shared for advertising.

How we keep it anonymous

  • Collection of personal data in the monitoring tool is turned off.
  • If a diagnostic session recording is captured after an error, all text is masked and media is blocked.
  • Web addresses in reports are trimmed to the page path. Anything after it, like search terms, is removed before we see it.
  • Your IP address is not stored.

Your choice: Do Not Track

If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, monitoring is switched off completely. Privacy and content blockers also stop it.

Who processes this

The anonymous monitoring is handled for us by a third-party provider that processes this data on our behalf, on servers in the European Union. It is used only to keep Diviide working.

Stored on your device

Diviide remembers your choices so the tool works the way you left it: your chosen color, your recent separators, your label text and settings, your light or dark theme, whether you have seen the intro, and where you paused the demo video. These are kept in your browser's local storage and never leave your device.
